City National Arena and America First Center run Golden Knights-affiliated youth programming. Las Vegas Ice Center publishes its own house league (Fall/Winter 2026 information was on the rink site as of this pass). USA Hockey registration lives with USA Hockey.

Rec leagues and drop-in

America First Center was advertising 2026–27 fall/winter adult league registration. Las Vegas Ice Center runs adult rec hockey. Drop-in and stick-and-puck slots move — check the rink before you drive.

  • Summerlin practice and public ice

    City National Arena

    Opened September 18, 2017. 146,000 square feet, two NHL-size sheets, team headquarters, public skate, youth and adult programs, UNLV club hockey. Built as both a pro practice facility and a Southern Nevada recreation hub.

  • Henderson practice and rec

    America First Center

    Opened November 10, 2020. Two NHL-size sheets on Water Street. Practice home of the Silver Knights and, for 2026–27, PWHL Las Vegas. Public skate, youth, and adult programs. The city publishes occasional free public-skate dates; registration is required — confirm on the city's page.

    Las Vegas Ice Center

    Two-rink community facility for public skate, youth house league, and adult rec hockey. Las Vegas Weekly listed it among the valley's public-ice options in June 2026. Sessions, prices, and registration are on the rink site.

Youth hockey

PWHL said Nevada youth hockey participation, particularly among girls and women, rose 600% since the Golden Knights' inaugural 2017 season.

Las Vegas was reported to be reviewing proposals for a two-sheet NHL-size arena on city land near North Hualapai Way and West Deer Springs Way, with a selection aimed for the end of 2026.
